Cask + Ale brings the best brunch variety every Saturday + Sunday from 11a - 3p on Main Street in Downtown Sarasota. I was hosted with two friends + we had the best time together enjoying ~
Drinks:
- $18 Bottomless Mimosas + Bloody Marys: Mimosas feature freshly-squeezed juices + as an added bonus, you can switch between flavors!
- Pumpkin Spice Espressotini: Three Olives Vanilla Vodka, housemade pumpkin spice simple + housemade cold brew
- Mocktail: Blueberry, basil + mint
- Mimosas: Champagne with prickly pear juice first, pineapple juice second
Entrees:
- Brioche French Toast: Fresh fruit topped with bourbon maple syrup + powdered sugar
- Surf ’n’ Turf Breakfast Tacos: 3 tacos with maple sausage {I subbed for bacon} + blue crab blended with giardiniera scrambled eggs, Gruyere cheese + Mike’s hot honey
- Fried Chicken Biscuit: Buttermilk chicken, Mike’s hot honey, side of broccoli slaw
- Sunrise Burger: Double patties, bacon, American cheese, fried egg, onion, pickle, garlic aioli
Other Highlights:
- Being from Maryland, I’m very picky about crab meat. I have to say, this was the best non-Maryland blue crab I’ve had since moving to Florida!!
- Have plenty of TVs to watch college or professional football while brunching
- The entire team was so friendly + accommodating! This will definitely be my go-to brunch spot in Sarasota.
